Allen Gallery Redevelopment (£2.7m)
Leading the redevelopment of a nationally significant ceramics gallery within a listed building, guiding the project from early feasibility through to construction.
Full project leadership across all stages of development and delivery
Coordination of trustees, funders, contractors and specialist advisors
Navigation of a complex, constrained heritage environment
Funding support and reporting, including National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) programmes
Integration of low-carbon and decarbonisation strategies within a historic setting
This project reflects my approach to delivering complex cultural projects. Clear governance, stakeholder alignment and structured leadership maintain momentum and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle.
St John of Jerusalem, South Hackney (£192,647)
Acting as Project Manager for a Grade II* listed church in South Hackney, guiding a volunteer led congregation through its first National Lottery Heritage Fund project.
Project management across capital works and activity delivery
Roof repairs and a new accessible entrance within a Grade II* listed building
Governance, reporting and decision making structures built from the ground up
Business planning and conservation strategy alongside the building work
Funder compliance and reporting to the National Lottery Heritage Fund
This project runs at a different scale to the Allen Gallery and asks for a different kind of leadership. The governance has to be built rather than inherited, and it has to be light enough for a volunteer team to keep running long after I have finished.

Most of my work sits in publicly funded, stakeholder rich settings, where the job is to provide clarity, keep momentum and support confident decision making at every stage.
I lead projects that carry multiple stakeholders, governance requirements and funding conditions. The approach is collaborative, pragmatic and quietly tenacious.
